Groundwater reserves are projected to run out within 20 to 40 years. The following essay is a collection of aerial images illustrating the arid yet ever-changing topography of the UAE.
Visit the contest's website to view more of the winners. Judging is currently ongoing so more winners will be announced throughout the week. Good luck to those of you with work yet to be judged.
Special thanks to my wife Jasmine & friend Matt Eich. Both helped with editing the series and encouraged me to enter the work in this year's contest.
