26 years ago skateboarding changed my life and even today remains an inspiration to my photography. That said, I came across this photo essay from photographer Hugh Holland's recently published book Locals Only: California Skateboarding 1975-1978.
His images are a fresh surprise after seeing so many of Glen E. Friedman's and C. R. Stecyk, III's work from this same time in skateboarding history.
